Siam Thai is doing a 29$ special this month, which includes an app, main, and dessert. The value is definitely there; portions were generous, and the quality is definitely above those of other Thai places in Queens. The meat in both mains (pad thai, pineappled fried rice) were chunks, they weren't the usual thin, dry slices you get at all other places. Flavor is also more complex here, there is a bit of a smoky taste in the dishes. We ended up boxing almost 60% of the meal because we just couldn't finish it. We had the very berry mojito, which I personally wasn't a fan of; tasted very much like some berry medicine. That all said, I am not sure if I'd choose to go to Siam Thai over other Thai places in the city, with without the promotion. There is just too much strong competition, esp in Queens that is better priced. It's hard justify paying almost double the normal amount for pad thai that tastes just a bit better than the rest. This is probably why the restaurant is generally pretty empty (nice interior decor tho!). Service was very friendly, only thing was my cup had dust inside (either it wasn't cleaned well, or the water served was a little dirty). Overall a good experience.

It is official ! This is my FAVORITE spot for Thai. From service to food to this semi hidden gem! With Google and Siri my maps confuse the heck out of me! We had to walk around the block. Not sure if it was bad reception or someones pinning them wrong! We soon realized it was on the side of the block! FYI for the ones who did get lost! We guided ourselves downstairs which was a surprise. The esthetics of the place was all in awe moments. I can see influencers and social media peeps going wild here photo bombing every angle of this place. We ordered the Khao Soi, Tomahawk Steak with Massam Curry, Money bags, the Soft shell crap papaya salad, the pad see ew, and the fresh oysters. Let me tell you. Everything was on point! I mean EVERYTHING. It's very rare for me to point out that how perfect the meats came out. Piping hot, juicy, steaming, etc. The salads were perfectly chilled while the soft shell crab was still warm and crispy! The chicken in the Khao Soi was cooked perfectly. The Tomahawk Steak was fall off your bone drenched in that curry sauce. EVEN THE MONEY BAGS! Which I had like 0 interest had this punch of bouncy mix meatball substance that literally explodes in your mouth. Was the food as good as sex? YES, OMG YES! Finished twice and still wants more. Hats off to the chefs, cooks, and servers. They definitely know how to do things right!

This spot has a chill but trendy vibe to it where you can either come here to eat casually, on a date night or as a large group for an occasion. There's enough room for all of it. It doesn't look like it from the outside but it's real spacious and the decor is really dope. We made a reservation so we didn't have to wait at all to be seated and the wait staff took our order almost immediately. Parking was a little difficult at first but the side streets had a lot so we found something pretty quick. The food was good. I've personally had A LOT of thaI food in the city so it's not a fair comparison but the food here was pretty solid and flavorful. I will say, considering Flushing is known for how good the food usually is, the food here could have been better. But not bad...The portions were also really good. I did like how the menu had a good variety but also wasn't crazy overwhelming with a million different things to choose from. The noise level was loud so that might be annoying depending on the type of person you are. I usually don't really care about that but even I was getting a little annoyed at how loud I had to speak at times. Compared to the darker almost calming ambiance of the place, if I were them I would lower the music a bit to make it more of like a steady background noise. Overall, You gotta come check this place out if you're looking for something to do in Queens & are craving Thai food. It's a good night out.

Great tasting Thai food in a restaurant with a unique jungle theme! We came here with a large group and got several appetizers and large shareable entrees to eat family-style. It was great to be able to experience a bit of each of the dishes. My favorite appetizer was the chicken satay. The chive pancakes are also classic. My favorite entree was the Short Rib in Massaman Curry. The meat was so tender and just falling off the bone, and drenched in tasty curry. But overall you can't go wrong with any of their entrees. I really enjoyed the ambience. The service was also great! The only downside is that the food is a bit pricey. Street parking is also a bit tight in this area on weekends.

I'm actually a little surprised that we had not been here sooner, as we are huge fans of Thai food and this menu is quite enticing. In the end, would probably come again but am definitely not rushing back. Came on a Friday night and it was shockingly empty-unclear why. Started with the Siam platter. We debated this for a while because of the price and I still haven't decided whether it's worth such a price. I'm a sucker for chive pancakes and moneybag dumplings. These ultimately were good! The dipping suaces-fine. Satay-fine. Price point-difficult. We opted for two mains. Went with Pad kee mao with tofu which was exactly what we expected, well executed but really just fine. The true star of the show was the reason this place is featured on social media: the tomahawk short rib massaman curry. It really was excellent. Easy to scrape off the bone and so so tender. However, it is advertised to serve 3-4 people, which is certainly not true, and doesn't come with rice, which it certainly needs. Recommend opting for a side order of rice on top of the fairly hefty price for this dish, which made it a bit less appetizing. If you leave a google review, they grab you a free Thai tea ice cream for dessert.

Beautiful atmosphere. Prices are a little higher than Thai food normally is, but worth it given the ambiance and how unique the food is. Everything is delicious. The prawns weren't really my thing though. Def get the moneybag appetizer, lychee soju was delicious- just the right amount of flavor and sweetness. We also ordered a duck curry- yummy!

The ambiance is pretty. I would go here on a date or a group of friends. Photos would come out well. Service was okay. My pad Thai needed more of the lemongrass taste. It was missing the tanginess. I asked for more lemon but the lemons didn't help with the taste. The chive cakes were good. Needs a little bit more flavor. The drinks were tasty. I got the night in Bangkok drink. It was good. My friend got the Tropical Soul, she didn't fancy it so much. It is pricier because of the ambiance. You are paying more floor the ambiance. I will say that the portion size was a good amount. Enough you can take home a portion. Street parking.

What a beautiful restaurant! After descending one flight down you will see the stylish dining areas throughout starting with the host station and bar. There's mood lighting for that ambiance. Great vibes for any occasion. The Thai Island vibe is what I noticed first with the trees and greenery throughout. The straw like lanterns create that story further and look ahead, you'll see the cutest little monkey on the tiled back wall. My first comment is about my server, Michelle. She was so sweet throughout my dinner service. Quick to respond to questions about the menu and always genuine with a smile on approach. Appreciate her friendliness. She checked on us as needed and provided chopsticks upon request. It would seem fork and spoon is the main table setting here. I enjoyed sifting every page of the menu as it was my first visit. I wanted to try everything! Eyes bigger than my stomach (not by much)! My favorite appetizer was the scallop crudo (minus that jalapeno, whoa it had a kick). The soft shell crab curry was a little on the salty side but with a bowl of rice, that would've solved it. The chicken rice we ordered on the side to cut the saltiness of the crab fried rice helped a lot. So two things that were consistent, they were a little heavy handed on the salt. The other, when it says Chiles or has the red pepper symbol - the spice is on! Not adjustable like other places. Even our steamed fish was a little too spicy for me towards the end. The roti - not on the menu as it's normally accompanied by the curry dish, is available, just ask. It's a few bucks but worth it. I liked the mixed drinks they had to offer but I didn't partake this visit except for the Lychee Thai Tea because I was ordering all over the place. Wanted to enjoy the goodies and that I did. Too full for dessert but maybe next time. Note: It's entrance is just off the corner of Northern Blvd. on the side street of 157th. It is on the lower level so call ahead to ask if it is wheelchair accessible. I did not see an elevator.

5 stars for a superb lunch spot in Queens! We had the appetizer platter to get a small taste of some of their popular app items. Money bags (crunchy wrapper, flavorful moist meatball inside), puff pastry (light fluffy, empty- not sure if this was a mistake LOL) satay skewers (flavorful ), and a mochi-like savory cake with chives and other herbs. And with dipping sauces and presented beautifully. Mains Beef Pad See Ew: great umami and smoky taste, and I was glad they did not stray from the classic simple dish. Noodles were tender and al dente. Tomahawk beef short rib curry, side of roti: what a great creamy perfectly seasoned sauce and the short rib was very tender! We ordered a side of rice for the sauce. A bit on the sweeter side but still so good. Crispy pork belly with basil and veggies- I forgot what the name of this dish is but the sauce is sooo savory and rich this is a must do for this place! Similar to pad see ew sauce but richer. Drinks: Phaya shots: comes in 6, tart and sweet at the same time., topped with a blueberry and served on a beautiful iced bronzed dish. Ambience is casual and dressy, friendly and lively. Service was efficient and our server timed our dishes well. The interior is very pretty reminiscent of a tropical jungle. Restrooms are clean and pretty as well if that matters to you ( it matters to me :) ) Street parking. Will come back!
